The worldwide gaming community convenes annually at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas to network, attend educational sessions, and stay up to date on new gaming technology. The centerpiece of the show, however, takes place in the expo hall where manufacturers of slot machines, table games and other products focused on the gaming industry show off their latest and greatest.

Of the new equipment being shown off every year, new slot titles always generate a lot of attention and this year was no exception. Below, we share some of our favorite new slot machine titles that will be making their way to the casino floor.

Game show formats tend to be popular with slot players and IGT is taking advantage with a number of compelling slot titles. At G2E, IGT unveiled their new Jeopardy slot game with the assistance of James Holzhauer, winner of over $2 million dollars on the real world game show.

The $25,000 Pyramid

Another take on a popular game show from IGT that fans of the show are sure to seek out. IGT’s Jeopardy and $25,000 Pyramid represent a nice compliment to their Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune slot games which are currently on casino floors and housed in the same Megatower hardware pictured below.

The popular board game and movie is now a 4D slot machine courtesy of IGT. 4D slots combine a 3D display, complete with symbols and animations that appear to float in front of the player, with surround sound and a chair that rumbles along with the gameplay. The word “immersive” tends to be overused in the gaming industry, but this 4D slot is just that.

Karate Kid

Mr. Miyagi, Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence have been transformed into a new slot game and is sure to appeal to anyone who loved the movie franchise. The game, produced by Everi, features a horizontally curved screen, 2 USB ports, and progressive jackpots winnable if you obtain a full screen of certain characters. Game play can be conducted in “Wax on or Wax off” mode with “Wax on” costing a tad more per spin, but offering more bonus game opportunity.

The Mask

Everi takes on another classic, this time from the early 90’s, in The Mask. Like their Karate Kid game, The Mask slot machine features popular movie characters and film clips. This game can be expanded to “Immersive HD” (full screen) which gives the player the impression that the game is happening around them.

Star Trek The Next Generation

A slot game featuring a double wide seat from Aristocrat, Star Trek The Next Generation should appeal to fans of the long running show and movie franchise. Featuring a vertically curved display and free spin bonus, this new slot will obtain plenty of attention on the gaming floor.

Buffalo Gold Revolution

A game already on casino floors, Buffalo Gold Revolution is the next installment of the popular Buffalo slot series. The game is offered on both screen and traditional reel hardware by Aristocrat and the goal is to earn the wheel bonus which awards credits, free games and progressive jackpots.

Mad Max Fury Road

Also already on gaming floors, Mad Max is another play on cult classic franchise. Sitting on Aristocrat’s Edge X cabinet, it features a double wide seat, vertically curved screen and surround sound.
