Where to Find a Cheap Shrimp Cocktail in Vegas - $2!
Cheap shrimp cocktails have been part of the Las Vegas experience for decades.
Unfortunately, affordable options have slowly faded, leaving us with few choices.
With that in mind, I've tracked down every relevant inexpensive option, and you'll be happy to know options exist both on the Strip & Fremont Street.
On Fremont Street
Lanai Express at Fremont
Lanai Express serves a wide-ranging array of both Asian and American fare, making it quite the jack of all trades.
Among their most popular items is a $3.99 shrimp cocktail.
Lanai's shrimp cocktail was what one would expect at the price point... Tiny shrimp, in what I deemed to be an overwhelming bath of cocktail sauce.
Serving the shrimp cocktail in a plastic solo cup with tin foil on top didn't add to its appeal.
Was it worth $3.99? Sure. Will I buy it again? Probably not.
(Narrator: "He's had like 10 since he wrote that he wouldn't"). But alcohol was involved, FYI.
In all seriousness, it's a solid snack for the price.
Fremont, Main Street Station, and The Cal all offer $5 Modelo & Heineken (bottle or 16oz draft), and this bad boy pairs well with either.
On The Strip
Slots A Fun
Slots A Fun has reinvigorated their casino with cheap food and drink options that include a $2 shrimp cocktail - The cheapest in Las Vegas.
I recently stopped in to try it, and...liked it! There were 6 decently sized shrimp, and the cocktail sauce was delicious. The lettuce went untouched.
I ordered 2 more.
In addition to a cheap shrimp cocktail, Slots A Fun also slings $2 hot dogs, popcorn, and draft beer.
Off Strip
Palace Station
Palace Station's Brass Fork serves a $2.99 shrimp cocktail to boarding pass loyalty members around the clock.
I have yet to expeirence one, but they look supple.
Hopefully, I helped point you to a Shrimp Cocktail that doesn't break the bank.
Of the 2 options above, the cheap cocktail at Slots A Fun is my preference, as it's only $2.
