Key Points:
- At $5.99, Ketchup’s Burger & Fry basket may be the best burger deal on the Las Vegas Strip.
- A draft beer can be added to the meal for a measly $3.
- This is just one of several dirt-cheap dining options in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
You can’t log into social media without seeing “horror story” after “horror story” detailing expensive meals, egregious fees, and the evaporation of value at restaurants in Las Vegas.
Now, there are plenty of ripoffs… especially on the Strip, but there are also plenty of deals that’ll remind you of the Vegas you’re nostalgic for.
An example of that is Ketchup’s $5.99 burger basket, mid-Strip, in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.

I have to admit, I was skeptical before ordering, but the burger’s size was impressive for the price, and it was stacked with onions, pickles, tomato, and lettuce.
My only “knock”, and it could be personal preference, but the meat had a spongier texture than I’m used to. But it is still something I’d order again in a heartbeat.
The fries were also great.
Sweetening the pot, you can add a draft Bud Light for just $3.
This type of value is unheard of nowadays, and it’s mid-Strip. It’s going to fill you up.

This thing is tall. For reference, my hands have to be in the 90th percentile. They’re massive.

This is obviously a crazy good deal, yet the dining area was darn near empty. I’ve walked past a million times, and it’s seemingly never crowded.
Considering how much whining about Vegas being a “ripoff” I see on the socials, it’s perplexing to see deep value like this go unexploited.

Even if you’re not hungry, Ketchup offers solid drink deals, including $4 Bud Light drafts and $5 tall boy cans. They even have a walk-up counter where you can snag a drink to go.

Other Deals Nearby
This is just one of a few dirt-cheap meal deals in the Miracle Mile Shops within Planet Hollywood, and I’d be remiss not to call them out.
The first is a $5.99 breakfast at Blondies, offered on weekdays, which includes 2 eggs any style, breakfast potatoes, and your choice of sausage or bacon.

The portion size isn’t huge, but the price fits the meal.
Notably, Blondies also offers a $20 all-you-can-drink package on weekdays from 3-6pm.

The second deal is a breakfast at La Salsa Cantina, priced at $6.99 on weekdays and $9.99 on weekends. It includes 2 eggs, sausage or bacon, southwest potatoes, and a tortilla.
I thought it was very “fine” for the price. It came out almost immediately after being ordered, so it seems they have it prepared in advance.
Again, the price matches the meal. And that’s OK.

Neither of these breakfasts would motivate me to walk far or catch a ride to get, but I’d stop in again in a heartbeat if in the area.

I’m a former software salesman turned Vegas aficionado. While the craps table is my preferred habitat, I pull myself away to explore new attractions, shows, restaurants, and outdoor activities around Las Vegas with the intent of sharing my experiences.
Ultimately, I just want to help folks plan a better trip and save a few bucks in the process.
