If there is one thing the pandemic taught me, it’s how much we all have historically taken healthcare workers for granted. On behalf of our humble blog, I’d like to offer a sincere THANK YOU for all you do day in and day out.
Fortunately, a number of resorts in Las Vegas agree with my sentiment and want to express their gratitude by offering a healthcare worker discount, allowing you to score cheap accommodations on your next trip.
Below, I’ll identify what hotels on the Strip, Downtown, and off the Strip offer a healthcare worker discount, what the deal is, and link out to that specific offer to aid you in the booking process.
Las Vegas Strip Hotels With a Healthcare Worker Discount
Caesars Entertainment Healthcare Discount
Nurses, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Advanced Practice Nurses, and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners are eligible for a discount of up to 30% on prevailing room rates when booking through Caesars’ specific healthcare worker offer.
This deal can be used at any of the hotels in the Caesars portfolio, which include Horseshoe, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Rio, Linq, and Cromwell.

MGM Resorts Healthcare Worker Discount (Sometimes)
I know you’re wondering… What does “sometimes” mean? Well, from time to time, MGM Resorts will lump healthcare workers and nurses into their permanent military discount. This healthcare worker discount is offered on an “on again, off again” basis and changes frequently. To gauge if the discount is currently active, check the MGM promotions page, here.
If “healthcare workers” or “nurses” are listed as part of the military discount (just look for the American flag), you can book the discount with confidence.

Sahara Heroes Discount
Located on the north end of the Strip, Sahara is offering discounts of up to 30% on weekdays and 10% on weekends to healthcare and essential workers including doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).
In addition to a discount on rooms, guests will also receive a complimentary upgrade to Sahara’s Marra Tower among other perks. View Sahara’s deal, here.

Properties eligible for the offer include Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Palace Station, Sunset Station, Boulder Station, and Santa Fe Station.

Downtown Las Vegas Hotels Offering a Healthcare Worker Discount
Golden Nugget Healthcare Discount
Located smack dab in the middle of the Fremont Street Experience, Golden Nugget offers a 30% discount to healthcare workers including nurses, doctors, and EMS/EMT personnel.
In addition to a cheaper room, guests booking through Golden Nugget’s deal will also receive a Golden Nugget hat or polo shirt.

Plaza American Heroes Offer
As part of their “American Heroes” offer, medical and hospital workers are able to score a 20% hotel discount at Plaza.
In addition to a percentage off, the American Heroes offer entitles you to a complimentary room upgrade (assuming availability).
To book, you can either navigate here, to Plaza’s promotions page, and click “book now” next to the American Heroes offer, or enter the promo code “HERO” when making your reservation.

Again, thank you for all you do!
Hopefully, I was able to help steer you toward a hotel with a worthwhile healthcare worker discount in Las Vegas. Whether you hope to stay downtown, on the Strip, or away from the action, there’s likely a healthcare worker discount that fits the bill.
Even if your preferred resort isn’t currently offering a healthcare worker discount, there may still be opportunities to save.
