Key Points:
- On the Strip, only Caesars Entertainment properties offer a discount to locals.
- Downtown, only Downtown Grand offers a discount to Nevada residents.
- Fortunately, several off-strip properties offer discounts and/or waived resort fees.
While Las Vegas hotels tend to focus their marketing efforts on those arriving from out of state, several resorts offer a discount to Nevada residents.
I thought it would be helpful to create a repository of hotel deals for locals that’ll make identifying and booking a staycation an easier process.
For your convenience, I’ll be sure to link out to the specific deal referenced so that you can easily compare options.
Strip Hotels
Caesars Entertainment Properties: Resorts under the Caesars Entertainment umbrella are offering a discount of up to 15% to locals via their “Locals Hotel Deal” offer bookable here.
In addition to hotel deals, discounts are available for pool cabanas, wedding packages, and spa packages viewable by clicking the link above.

Fremont Street Hotels
Downtown Grand: Steps away from the Fremont Street Experience, Downtown Grand is offering a “Locals Staycation” deal that entitles Nevada residents to discounted rates and waived resort fees.

Off-Strip Hotels
Station Casinos: Locals can have resort fees waived by leveraging Station’s “Locals StaCation” deal, found here. Once there, scroll down and click your desired property next to the StaCation deal.
The “Locals StayCation” offer is good for stays at Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Palace Station, Sunset Station, Boulder Station, Durango, and Santa Fe Station.

M Resort: The locals discount at M Resort entitles guests to up to 30% off their stay and waived resort fees.

Hopefully, I was able to help you find a hotel deal for locals in Las Vegas that will fit your needs! Enjoy your time as a tourist in your hometown!

I’m a former software salesman turned Vegas aficionado. While the craps table is my preferred habitat, I pull myself away to explore new attractions, shows, restaurants, and outdoor activities around Las Vegas with the intent of sharing my experiences.
Ultimately, I just want to help folks plan a better trip and save a few bucks in the process.

I use to go to Vegas 3-5 times per year , but because of the resort fee and now parking fees - I now go about once every five years. These fees discourage myself n everyone I know from going frequently to Vegas . Looks like Vegas is mostly 21 year old people to 31 year olds from California. Get rid of these fees n I’ll start going again !!
