Most Las Vegas hotels offer military discounts to those who served in the Armed Forces, however, the amount offered varies by resort.
In addition to hotel deals, the two biggest players in town, Caesars and MGM, offer automatic upgrades to Platinum & Pearl Status respectively, which entitles you to free parking. A nice perk.
I thought it would be helpful to create an updated summary of military & veteran discounts being offered by hotels so that you can quickly survey your options.
Strip Military Discounts
Caesars Entertainment Resorts
Veterans and members of the military can receive a discount of up to 35% at Caesars Entertainment properties.
Simply navigate to Caesars’ deal page here, and verify your status with ID ME (they’ll walk you through it). I used ID ME to verify my status with Caesars for the discount and it was painless.
Resorts under the Caesars umbrella that are eligible for the deal include Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, LINQ, Cromwell, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Paris, and Horseshoe.
MGM Resorts
Another chain with a large Strip presence, MGM Resort, offers a military discount of up to 10% on direct bookings.
To redeem the discounted rate, you will want to navigate to the MGM Resorts “Offers” page. There, you will be able to select the military discount, view rates, and book.
Discount-eligible resorts under the MGM umbrella include MGM Grand, Bellagio, Park MGM, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, Aria, Vdara, Signature, NYNY, and Delano.
Sahara
Located on the north reaches of the Strip, Sahara offers a military discount of up to 30% off rooms when booking with the resort Sahara, here.
Sweetening the deal, Sahara will also automatically upgrade members of the military to their Marra Tower.

Anchoring the north end of the Strip, STRAT offers a 10% military discount when booking directly with the property.
To get the deal, navigate to STRAT’s promotions page, and select “book now” under “U.S. Military Discount”.

Station’s “Heroes’ Rate” can be booked here, and is good for stays at Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Palace Station, Sunset Station, Boulder Station, and Santa Fe Station.

Westgate is conveniently connected to the main resort corridor via the Las Vegas Monorail and offers a 10% military discount.
To book the deal, select your travel dates and room type in their booking portal. After that, select the “Flexible Government and Military” pricing option to have the discount applied.

The discount is applicable at Aliante, The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, and Cannery in addition to Boyd’s 3 Fremont Street properties (mentioned below).

Set a block away from Fremont Street, DTG allows members of the military and veterans to double dip with both a 15% discount and an upgrade to a premium room.
Golden Gate
The historic Golden Gate offers a military discount of 20% Sunday – Thursday and 10% Friday – Saturday.
The D
Complete with an upbeat 2-level casino, The D offers a military discount of 20% Sunday – Thursday and 10% on Friday and Saturday.
Binion’s and 4 Queens
In addition to never charging resort fees, the sister properties on Fremont Street both offer a 10% military discount. To book, select that specific offer when selecting your room and dates of stay.
Nothing is better than saving money in Vegas and I can think of no more deserving group to receive a discount.
Fortunately, there are a solid number of resorts in Las Vegas that offer a discount to members of the military and veterans – Have a blast!
