Vegas Hotels That Offer Military and Veteran Discounts – 2020

Most Las Vegas resorts offer discounts to individuals that served in the US Armed Forces, however, the amount offered varies by resort. Obtaining the property’s military discount will require you to book direct as opposed to with a 3rd party, which we recommend anyway as booking direct typically provides the best price and flexibility to cancel at no cost should the need arise.

We wanted to compile a list of military discounts offered by Vegas resorts along with how to redeem as offers can be a bit tricky to find on some booking platforms.

Bear in mind that showing a valid military ID is necessary at the time of check in for all discount deals listed below. Come prepared!

Las Vegas resort chains that offer a Military and Veteran discounts

Caesars Entertainment offers 10% off to prior service and active military members when booking direct. Their booking system uses “ID Me” which verifies your service status once and then applies your discount going forward on subsequent bookings when logged in. To redeem the discounted rate, simply navigate to the booking screen and select your travel dates. Under the list of available rooms and properties, select “learn more” about military discounts to set up ID Me. Next, when booking you will need to “verify with ID Me” as a discount code after entering your dates.

Discount eligible resorts under the Caesars umbrella include Planet Hollywood, Linq, Cromwell, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Paris, Bally’s, and Rio.

Eligible members of the military are also able to automatically upgrade to Platinum status within the Caesars Rewards loyalty program which entitles you to free parking privileges.

MGM Resorts also offers a 10% military discount on rooms when booking direct. To redeem the discounted rate, you will want to navigate to the MGM Resorts military and veterans program page. From there, you will be able to book at the discounted military rate at any of their properties.

Discount eligible resorts under the MGM umbrella include MGM Grand, Bellagio, Mirage, Park MGM, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, Aria, Vdara, Signature, NYNY, and Delano.

Eligible members of the military and veterans will also receive a players club upgrade to Pearl status which allows for free parking.

Boyd Gaming offers members of the military and vets 10% off hotel bookings. To obtain the discount, book here and be prepared to show ID at the time of check in.

Discount eligible properties under the Boyd Umbrella include Aliante, Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, Eastside Cannery, Cannery, California, Fremont, and Main Street Station.

Station Casinos offer 10% off to military and veterans. To obtain the offer, select the “Military” rate when booking your room online and present your ID at the time of check in.

Hotels included under the Stations umbrella for this offer are Red Rock, Palace Station, Texas Station, Sunset Station, Green Valley Ranch, Boulder Station, and Santa Fe Station. Note that Palms offers a slightly more lucrative 15% military discount when booking direct and selecting the discount option during booking.

Stand Alone Properties offering a Military/Veteran discount

South Point offers a 10% military discount when booking direct. Add the deal by selecting the “military” special offer when picking your dates.

Strat offers a 10% military discount when booking direct.

Sahara offers a 10% military discount on rooms and entertainment, as well as 25% off of dining when booked through the concierge.

Cosmopolitan offers a 20% military discount when selected as a rate option. After selecting your dates, click “room details” on the room you would like. You will then click “More Pricing Options” and check the “military rate” bubble to obtain your discount.

Tropicana, which offers up to 30% off to members of the military and veterans, represents one of the best military discounts in Vegas. To obtain the deal, just select “Govt/Military Rate” when selecting your dates of travel. Your valid military ID will need to be presented at the time of check in.

Plaza on Fremont Street offers a generous 20% off of guest rooms on weeknights and 15% on weekends. Just select “American Heroes” rate when booking your reservation.

Golden Nugget downtown provides military/veterans 20% off room rates when you select “Military/First Responder” rate while booking.

Downtown Grand lets members of the military and veterans double dip with both a 15% discount and an upgrade to a premium room.
