Dueling Piano Bars in Las Vegas – On the Strip & Downtown

Dueling pianos aren’t your niece’s piano recital.

Unlike other lounge shows or concerts, you’re invited to sing along to classic songs from both then and now. It’s an upbeat, almost raucous experience that only gains energy as the night progresses (and beers are tipped).

Most of these shows fill quickly, and unfortunately, Dueling Pianos bars are few and far between.

If you want a seat, I recommend getting to the lounge early to claim some real estate.

Dueling Pianos on the Strip

The Piano Bar Harrah’s: In addition to Pete Vallee’s free Big Elvis show, which runs 3 days per week and karaoke, The Piano Bar hosts dueling pianos nightly at 9pm.

As shown in the image below, the energy from the show spills onto Harrah’s casino floor. You don’t even need to be in the bar to enjoy it.

Bar at Times Square at NYNY: Tucked in the themed city section of the New York New York casino floor, the Bar at Times Square features one of my personal favorite dueling piano acts in town.

My wife and I stumbled across it a few years back and were drawn in by the energy. To this day, it’s one of the most memorable nights I’ve had on the Strip, and I had a lot to drink…

Dueling Piano shows start at 8pm nightly and typically require a $10-$20 cover charge for standing room, depending on the night.

Hot tip: Grab one of the bartop seats that circle the bar looking in. You’ll have a great view and can enjoy complimentary drinks, provided you’re pecking the bartop VP.

Eastside Lounge at Encore: Keeping up with the elegance and luxury that define Wynn and Encore, Eastside Lounge is stunning. As a high-end option at a 5-star resort, I recommend dressing up and looking the part.

With views of Encore’s pool, you can enjoy specialty, hand-crafted cocktails while enjoying the live entertainment, which kicks off at 9:30pm nightly.

Juliet Cocktail Room at The Venetian: While not an every-night staple, dueling pianos rev to life on Wednesday nights at 9pm.

Whether you’re craving an upscale lounge experience with craft cocktails or a run-of-the-mill bar serving draft beer and rail drinks, I can’t recommend catching one of these shows enough.

Shouting along to your favorite songs until the wee hours of the morning is the perfect way to forget about the beating you took in the casino.

With this new information in mind, I would recommend you avoid dueling piano shows in Las Vegas. I don't think you would have a good time :)
