Cheap Drinks & Happy Hours on the Strip
It's not a well-kept secret that Vegas is more expensive than it once was, but you don't need to get ripped off.
Drink deals and happy hours are plentiful up and down the Strip, ranging from budget beers at dive bars to upscale restaurants that discount the "finer things".
Tip: Bookmark this, so that it's handy when you're on the ground in Las Vegas. I use it constantly.
Note that Las Vegas happy hour deals can change frequently and without notice. I'll do my best to stay on top of changes, but I recommend clicking through to the linked menu where applicable to confirm the offer is current.
Now, get after it!

Drink Deals Steps Away From the Strip

Stage Door Casino: Bottled beer at Stage Door now starts at $2 (Dos Equis & Heineken), with Bud & Bud Light coming in at $3.75.

I’m a former software salesman turned Vegas aficionado. While the craps table is my preferred habitat, I pull myself away to explore new attractions, shows, restaurants, and outdoor activities around Las Vegas with the intent of sharing my experiences.
Ultimately, I just want to help folks plan a better trip and save a few bucks in the process.

The Orleans usually have some very good deals
Sporting events at sports books Laredo east Fremont $1 dogs $2 beers, free magazines in casino occasionally offer coupon for 1 free beer at Palms. People passing out drink tickets ? on strip are making $50 cash, for each ticket you take to club/casino they kick back $75 to the company providing the drink ?, the thinking is to get you into the casino ? to spend ?at their properties. Flamingo had solo bar outside on sidewalk offering various beers for $2.
You missed the Fuel Bar in front of Bally's buy one get one from open to closed 365 days a year, it's the best deal on the strip !!!! TWO double Jack & Cokes for $15 yes please !!!
I went to slots o fun today and it was closed! Ugh.... I was looking forward to $1 beers
Just to clarify, Casino Royale has NEVER served Michelob Ultra.
They used to have Michelob and Michelob Light for $1 and then it went up to $2. Soon after that, they decided to charge $3 for ALL bottled beer and $4 for all draft to make it simple.
Also, they only take cash to make service faster.
Best place on the Strip to drink without busting your budget.
Yard House Linq has eliminated their happy hour!
Bummer! Thank you for the update.
Blondie's doesn't do the 9-12am happy hour anymore, even though one spot on web says they do and another says 10-12am, lol. (Here right now not getting loaded on well drinks 😃)
Thanks for the heads up! They should probably get that website updated, eh?!
Does the bird bar at flamingo still have $.50 beers from 5pm-6pm? Also does Cromwell still have vodka specials?
@Carol, nope on both 🙁 I think they’re both gone for good.
Are drinks still free while you're gambling?
They Are! Just ensure you have singles to tip!
I love that you update this list .. I regularly look at it for multiple trips. Thanks 🙏
Thanks for letting everyone know where the Super good deals are at! Blessings
Ellis Island charges $4 now for their in-house beers.
Thanks for the note, Patrick! Got that updated!
FYI, we tried to attend Tao for the happy hour, and the server said they stopped doing the cocktail special at least one year ago! But so many other goodies on the list. Thanks!
Shoot! I'm sorry you ran into that. Removing it now! Glad you found some other good ones at least!
RPM Italian has, IMO, one of the best Happy Hours on weekdays from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. A nice selection of drinks and food options in a beautiful setting. I also think that RPM is one of the best Italian restaurants in Las Vegas for their exceptional service, quality of food, and reasonable prices.
Should mention that they can be found in the Forum Shops entrance of Caesars.
Thanks! Dorothy 🙂
Thank you! I got it added to the article.

Nice! I'll check it out when I'm in the area. Appreciate it!
I have friends that have been out to Vegas this year and said they wont go back just because of drink and food prices. they stayed at the Fountain Bleau and paid 60.00 for a bucket of beer, I know 16 ounce cans still dose not justify the price. and then the slide a tip in if you can, happen several until they found out you can asked to have it taken off. Look up the definition of gratuity its a tip extra money given (not taken) to a server or worker for there efforts , a token of appreciation and so on. I have to come out for work in December hope it changes a lot before I get there.
@john, Yea, there can be some wild pricing out there! Bookmark this article and use it as a reference! There's still a ton of value out there if you know where to look.
Hi Jake, thanks for putting this together. It’s been helpful. Just a heads up that as of Oct 30 AmeriCAN is closed and Jimmy Kinmel’s only does $5 Heineken Silver (bit worth a visit bc it’s a chill place with a FANTASTIC staff.
Really appreciate the note! Updated!
