Key Points:
- On the Strip, only Sahara and resorts under the Caesars Entertainment umbrella offer a discount to teachers.
- Downtown, both Plaza and the Golden Nugget offer educator discounts.
- Station Casinos, a chain of resorts focused on the locals market, also offers discounted rates.
Teachers work their tails off to ensure the success of our kids, and as a parent of two school-aged kids myself, I’d like to extend a massive thanks!
Several resorts in Vegas also see your work as valuable, offering exclusive discounts & perks.
I’ll link to each discount so that you can quickly compare options.
Strip Resorts
Caesars Entertainment: Both students and teachers can save up to 15% on the lowest available rate when booking via the linked offer.
Eligible properties include Horseshoe, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Cromwell, and LINQ.
Instead of presenting an ID at check-in, educators will verify their status with “ID ME” when booking. I recently used the service for a military discount & it was painless.

Sahara: A monorail-connected resort on the north strip, Sahara is offering teachers up to 30% off Sunday-Thursday stays & 10% off on weekend bookings.
In addition to the room discount, guests will receive a complimentary upgrade to Sahara’s Marra Tower.

Off-Strip Resorts
Station Casinos: Teachers, professors, and college students can save up to 35% on room rates at hotels under the Station umbrella when booking via this deal.
The student & teacher discount offer includes Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Palace Station, Boulder Station, Sunset Station, and Santa Fe Station.

Fremont Street Resorts
Plaza: Anchoring the Fremont Street Experience, Plaza offers a discount to teachers of up to 20% and a complimentary room upgrade (if available).

Golden Nugget: Educators staying at Golden Nugget can save up to 40% off prevailing room rates by leveraging their “Heroes Discount”, bookable here.

While not a teacher myself, I can only imagine how much patience and hard work go into your job.
Thank you for molding our children into productive members of society, and have a great time in Las Vegas!
You deserve the opportunity to blow off some steam!

I’m a former software salesman turned Vegas aficionado. While the craps table is my preferred habitat, I pull myself away to explore new attractions, shows, restaurants, and outdoor activities around Las Vegas with the intent of sharing my experiences.
Ultimately, I just want to help folks plan a better trip and save a few bucks in the process.
