Key Points:
- The FRIENDS Experience is home to set recreations, photo ops, props, and facts about the hit show.
- I was impressed by the level of detail in the set recreations, and loved the ability to “step into” scenes from the show.
- Adult pricing ranges from $49-$55 depending on the day, and it’ll be worth it to the right person.
The FRIENDS Experience opened at MGM Grand in July 2025 in the former Hunger Games Exhibition space (RIP), and allows “fans to explore the show’s iconic moments, behind-the-scenes content and photo opportunities within life-size set recreations.”
Legit fun facts about the show are scattered throughout as well. For instance, did you know Chandler drank 212 cups of coffee throughout the show?
That could win you a bar bet one day.
Oh, and did you know Monica said “I KNOW!” 18 total times?
Head straight to Buffalo Wild Wings, get one of those trivia machines, and show off your new knowledge! (do they still have the trivia machines?)
Anyway.
A sucker for themed attractions like this, I figured it would be fun to swing in, give you the lay of the land, and share my unsolicited opinions on whether it’s worth your valuable vacation time & money.

Cost & Ticketing
Adult admission starts at $49 on weekdays, but jumps to $55 during peak times.
There’s also a $5 discount for Nevada residents available when booking in advance.
Tickets are sold for specific times. Book in advance to ensure you get the time block you want. I failed to do this, tried to walk up and buy a ticket when they opened at 11 am, and was bummed to learn the first available time block was noon.
Fortunately, the nicest lady on Earth noticed I was buying a single ticket and offered me a free one that her friend couldn’t use. We were photo buddies throughout the attraction.

Inside The FRIENDS Experience
The introduction to the attraction is a nostalgia-laced video of FRIENDS highlights that get you all amped to get in. The wall then moved aside, and we were let loose.

Photo Opportunities
Photo opportunities from iconic moments in the show are scattered throughout the attraction, and employees at each are happy to snap a photo with your personal camera or cell phone.
They also take photos with their professional equipment, and those photos are available for purchase. Your cell phone pics should be sufficient, however (that’s what you’re seeing in this post).
Photo ops included:

Set Recreations
My favorite part of FRIENDS was the set recreations, which had an impressive level of detail and made you feel as if you were stepping into where it all happened, like Joey & Chandler’s apartment, Monica & Rachel’s apartment, and Central Perk.
While I waited for the room to clear out to snap photos, feel free to mingle, explore, and take all the pics you want, wherever you want. Fans of the show were nerding out in a big way.

Props & Show Facts
I’m the definition of a “casual” FRIENDS fan, tuning in here and there when it was on TV, so I thought the facts scattered about were great.
They were also unique, and included how many times certain lines, like “How you doin'”, were said throughout the show (25x by the way), how many storylines each character had with others, how many cups of coffee each character had at Central Perk, and how many total lines each character had throughout the show (Rachel won with 9,272).

I also appreciated the relationship map that covered the duration of the show, modeled after a subway map.

Here are a few additional props, costumes, and scenes from FRIENDS: The One in Vegas.

What’s Not to Like?
While not a huge deal, it’s worth noting that this doesn’t take long to get through. It’s a quick attraction, so ensure you take the time to read the info, explore the sets, etc.
The value here is in the photo opportunities. Even if they’re quick, people are going to love the pictures of themselves “on the set” of their favorite show. They’re going to look great on social media or in the ole’ vacation photo album.
I got through it in about 30 minutes.
The Verdict: Worth The Money?
If you grew up watching FRIENDS and are nostalgic for the show, then this is 100% worthwhile.
As mentioned, I’m a “casual”, but the die-hards around me were raving about the experience, and even as a passive fan, I appreciated the set recreations and attention to detail throughout.
It was fun to explore.
The staff was nothing short of spectacular, posted up at every major photo spot to help folks take pictures, even with their personal devices.
It almost would’ve been normal for them to offer to take photos only with their professional equipment with the intent of upselling you on the photo package, but they didn’t, and it was appreciated.
This isn’t cheap, but the photos and experience will be worth it to the right person.
