Newest Things To Do in Las Vegas – Open Now & Coming Soon!

Things to do in Las Vegas pop-up and fizzle out with mind-numbing frequency.

Although it can be difficult to keep up with the pace of change, the constant churning of attractions means that there’s always something new to do, even for the most seasoned Vegas veterans.

Because many of you are repeat visitors, I thought it would be helpful to summarize what’s new in Las Vegas, both on the Strip and on Fremont Street.

New Strip Attractions

Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition

Occupying the former Van Gogh Experience & Immersive Disney Animation space in the Shops at Crystals, Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel offers the chance to “See Rome in Las Vegas” with photo-worthy moments and educational storytelling throughout the 25k-square-foot attraction.

Tickets start at $32, and guests will see all 34 of Michelangelo’s celebrated works.

“Wizard of Oz” at The Sphere

Over 2 million tickets have been sold to see Oz at The Sphere, a multi-sensory experience that leverages fog, wind, fire bursts, 167,000 speakers, and haptic seats to bring the hit film to life.

Tickets start at just over $100 per person, but the venue makes the splurge worthwhile.

Colors of Mexico at the Fashion Show Mall

Colors of Mexico is a colorful feast for the eyes, featuring a room that simulates fireflies on a pitch black evening, painted animals that glow, and more.

It costs $15 to experience, but you receive a $15 food & Beverage credit to use in the bar/restaurant at the tail end, making this a pretty affordable activity!

FRIENDS The Experience at MGM Grand

MGM Grand’s newest themed attraction is now open and offers fans of the hit FRIENDS franchise a chance to “explore the show’s iconic moments, behind-the-scenes content, and photo opportunities within life-sized recreations”.

Sets featured include Ross & Rachel’s wedding, Central Perk, Monica’s apartment, and the fountain from the opening credits.

There are also plenty of props on display and “exclusive behind-the-scenes content”.

Adult entry starts at $49, and there will also be a FRIENDS retail store open to all.

Bottled Blonde at Horseshoe

Bottled Blonde is a new live music venue wedged between the Strip and Horseshoe, next door to Ole Red.

Live music acts take the stage in the main room daily from lunch to late.

The 4-story, $50 million entertainment venue has an open-air rooftop bar, a full menu, and unique cocktails like a strawberry drink served in an “old-timey” gas pump, a “Capri Sin”… modeled to look like the popular juice pouch, and an expansive beer selection.

Bottle service is also available, but also sounds expensive.

F1 Arcade in the Forum Shops

The F1 Arcade spans 21,000 square feet and is home to 87 full motion simulators that allow you to “Choose between high thrill experiences around the world’s most iconic tracks such as Team Racing, which challenges groups of four or more to race against each other, or go Head to Head”

There are also bars.

Swingers “Crazy Golf” at Mandalay Bay

The newest indoor adult-only mini golf course in Las Vegas has opened at Mandalay Bay, and I’d been stoked to check it out since I saw the first rendering (below).

The 40,000-square-foot venue is home to 4 mini-golf courses, bars, and even a carnival.

My brother Ike and I recently stopped in, and I have to say that I was disappointed by the experience, which I thought was significantly overpriced.

A 9-hole round of mini-golf costs $30-$35, which took us 17 minutes to complete. We added Carnival credits to our ticket, which was fun, but also a much smaller space than I anticipated.

In total, the 2 of us spent $200+ on 2 9-hole rounds of mini golf, an appetizer-sized pizza, 2 drinks, and some carnival credits.

Infuriatingly, they even requested a tip on the mini-golf and carnival credits during the online reservation process. Thinking there was a reason they were requesting it, I added 20%, however, there was no unique service aspect to the mini-golf or carnival experience and we were still expected to tip on food & drink purchased at the venue (which we obv. did).

I don’t see much value here, but opinions vary – Check out my Swingers Review on YouTube!

Coming Soon – Category 10

Luke Combs’ Category 10 is coming to the former Margaritaville space at Flamingo in 2026.

The 34k square foot country music bar will have a speakeasy in the women’s restroom, a 2nd floor bourbon lounge called “The Still”, and a rooftop bar area with a dancefloor and views of the Strip.

The main dining hall, dubbed “Hurricane Hall”, will have concert-quality sound, 3 bars, free line dancing lessons, and live music nightly.

Coming Soon – Netflix House Las Vegas

Coming in 2027, Netflix House will call the new BLVD mall on the south end of the Strip home.

This is a permanent, year-round attraction that brings the streaming service’s shows like “Wednesday”, “Squid Game”, “Stranger Things”, and more to life.

Visitors will enter through a red envelope doorway, a nostalgic nod to the Netflix of yesteryear. Once inside, they’ll be treated to photo opportunities, show-themed displays, ticketed experiences, and even a Netflix Bites restaurant.

This sounds like an amplified version of the Stranger Things Official Store, which was a free attraction briefly open on the Strip and featured set recreations and show-themed merchandise – It was awesome.

Coming Soon – Las Vegas Athletics Ballpark

Construction of the A’s new ballpark on the Tropicana site is hitting its stride, with plans to open in time for the 2028 MLB season.

This is what it looks like as of May 2026 (from the A’s ballpark construction livestream):

While work on the resort & casino is planned for the site, it has yet to start; this is what the future could (and will hopefully) look like.

New Off-Strip Attractions

The Evel Knievel Experience

Located in the Arts District, the Evel Knievel Experience will offer interactive experiences (like a 4D virtual reality jump) and showcase memorabilia from Evel’s career.

In total, the museum attraction will have 75+ exhibits and 100+ artifacts spanning Evel’s 212 jumps.

Adult tickets start at $35.

Barbie Malibu Cafe at Area15

Barbie Malibu Cafe is a “Family-friendly pop-up restaurant and roller rink will be inspired by the groovy beachside energy of 1970s Malibu, a time of carefree summer days when Malibu Barbie was first introduced to the world.”

The attraction combines a quick-serve restaurant concept with some ridiculously photogenic desserts and a roller rink that costs just just $1.

Admission is $25, but comes with a $10 food credit + a $5 merchandise credit.

Here are a few photos from the press release:

John Wick Experience at Area15

One of a handful of fresh attractions at Area15, The John Wick Experience “Blends immersive theatre and highly themed cinematic environments to create an interactive journey that transcends reality. Guests step through the doors of the Las Vegas Continental and into the fantastical underworld of John Wick, where they navigate a high-stakes adventure”.

According to the website, “Your visit will take unexpected turns. Behind each door, the world shifts — cinematic environments, live interactions, and subtle clues suggest not everything is as it seems. Someone may be helping you. Or watching. Or both.”

A bonus, there’s even a speakeasy.

Early reviews are off the charts, earning 4.9/5 Stars on Google Maps. Tickets start at $50 + fees.

Grand Prix Plaza – An Immersive F1 Experience

General Admission tickets to F1’s year-round fan experience, located in the pit building, cost $79 and take guests on “a tech-driven journey through a cutting-edge 4D exhibition with legendary artifacts, iconic F1 cars and hands-on activities where visitors can design their own virtual F1 car and put it to the test on the virtual track.”

There, you can take the wheel of a go-kart for 3 races on a 517-meter track with 31 turns.

These aren’t just any go-karts either. They have DRS logic, a boost button, an LED steering display, and you’ll receive race updates from a virtual engineer.

PopStroke Mini Golf at Town Square

PopStroke, in partnership with Tiger Woods, has brought its unique brand of mini golf to Town Square just off the Strip.

Unlike “traditional” mini golf, PopStroke’s two separate 18-hole courses resemble and play like an actual golf course with sand traps, artificial grass fairways, and even rough.

I found it to be a compelling value.

Horror Unleashed at Area15

Universal Parks & Resorts has created a year-round horror attraction that is part of the freshly expanded Area15 complex.

Inside are 4 haunted houses that include Universal Monsters, Scarecrow: The Reaping, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer.

Early reviews are mixed at best, with many pointing out that the haunted house experiences are short-lived and that the attraction is expensive for what it is.

I personally love Area15, especially Omega Mart, and am hopeful that this is equally impressive.
